I kind of laughed when I read the Tim Ferriss quote about reading fiction before bed instead of non-fiction. I always opt for non-fiction because I know I’ll only read a chapter or two at most, whereas with fiction, I can easily get sucked in and stay up until 2am until the book is done!   Mr. Sethi, whose nonfiction personal finance book started as a blog with the same title, was able to amass hundreds of thousands of readers before he landed a book deal.

In a nonfiction book, you may also wish to include a table of illustrations or figures. Next, insert your acknowledgements/ dedication page, if you want one, then your foreword (if any), your introduction, and finally, Chapter One! Step 9: Back Matter. If your book is fiction, it probably ends on the last page.   Before there were Renee Zellweger movies, won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction as well as the National Book Award, and has been adapted into a film and Broadway show.

Winfrey chose Franzen’s breakout novel for her book club in September , two months before it won the National Book Award for fiction.   Me Before You is the story of a seemingly free-spirited young woman who is trapped in a small life. She loses her safe, quiet cafe job and, through the local employment support agency, she finds that she's not qualified for much. This is a major problem for her family, who she helps to .

your English needs a lot of improvement before you are ready to write a book. I don’t know if English is not your native lasnguage or if your education was cut short, but I urge you to get some basic writing help before you try to write and publish a book.

When you’re pitching a non-fiction book to a publisher, just about everything is different. While there are two routes you can take when publishing your non-fiction book, the focus of this guide will be on traditional publishing, i.e. getting an agent and finding a suitable publisher.

Before Things Fall Apart was published infew novels existed in English that depicted African life from the African perspective.
